There was a new part of the tate modern that had been opened up called the tanks, which were accessed from the turbine hall off to the right. The space was the oil tanks for the old power station. The rest of the tate modern is very clean and bright, but the tanks were dark and industrial, varied spaces being used for installations and performances. It felt like being in berlin. Very cool indeed.
